Periodic showers, more humidity and seasonable temps this week
Sunday continued the winning weather stretch across Central Indiana! High pressure dominated overhead and kept temperatures below normal, conditions quiet and dew points in comfortable territory. However, that high-pressure center will slide east over the next few days. This will allow some gradual changes in our weather pattern locally. Those changes include more rain chances and a slight increase in humidity levels.

Man killed in early morning Russell neighborhood shooting identified
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The name is now known of the man killed in a shooting in west Louisville from earlier this month. Louisville Metro police officers were called on Wednesday, July 10 just after 3:15 a.m. to the 2600 block of West Chestnut Street in the Russell neighborhood. That’s where they found a man who had been shot.
LMPD says 2 people taken to hospital after shooting outside Old Louisville business
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A local man, who works to prevent violence in the city, became a witness to a double shooting outside an Old Louisville business Monday morning. Marcus Poyntz is the supervisor at Cure Violence Program YouthBuild. He was sitting at a stop light across the street when gunshots were fired. He told WAVE News he looked to his left and saw a man coming out of the store with a gun, shooting at a car in the parking lot.
