The Ohio Bar maintains 27 committees and 14 sections, each of which specializes in a particular area of law. Committees and sections work to improve the justice system by keeping Ohio lawyers informed about the latest court decisions and regulatory changes. They also comment on bills before the Ohio General Assembly and draft their own legislative proposals to improve existing laws. Chairpersons selected for this honor have demonstrated excellence and expertise in their practice area as well as outstanding leadership and a commitment to the profession and the rule of law.

Lyles is an associate attorney at the law firm of Stebelton and Snider where her practice includes estate planning, real estate, agriculture and business matters. She previously worked as deputy legal counsel for the Ohio Department of Agriculture, representing the department in matters pertaining to amusement ride safety and fairs, weights and measures, auctioneers, pesticide and fertilizer, hemp, agricultural commodity programs, food safety and animal health.

She serves as a member of the family advisory council of Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a member of the Columbus Mothers of Twins Club. She is a board member and past president of Fairfield Industries and a 2014 graduate of Fairfield Leadership. Lyles earned her undergraduate degree from Ohio University and her law degree from Capital University Law School.
