LANCASTER CITY, Pa. (WHTM) — The City of Lancaster is set to host Indie Retail Week this week.

From July 12 through July 20, Indie Retail Week celebrates Lancaster City’s independent retail community and encourages residents and visitors to support local merchants.

This year’s Indie Retail Week has a specific message: “Rediscover the heart of indie.” The week’s emphasis is not only on encouraging retailers to promote deals, discounts, or promos, but also educating the public on the importance of shopping locally and telling retailers’ stories.
