(WHTM) — When coming to Pennsylvania, you are guaranteed to experience unique features, such as Dutch food, the lingo, and even some of the best beer in the country, according to a study.

When you think of Central Pennsylvania, you may tend to think more of farmland or the Amish, but now you can think about the state having some of the best beer spots. There are three cities in Pennsylvania that rank in the top 15 for “best beer cities in the U.S.,” according to a recent study from Tasting Table.

Lancaster, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg break the top 15 at sixth, seventh and twelfth, respectively.

Below is the ranking for the top 15 cities in the U.S. for beer:

These are the best breakfast/brunch places in Central Pennsylvania, according to Yelp
    • First – Asheville, NC
    • Second – Pensacola, FL
    • Third – Las Vegas, NV
    • Fourth – Portland, ME
    • Fifth – Greenville, SC
    • Sixth – Lancaster, PA
    • Seventh – Pittsburgh, PA
    • Eighth – Cincinnati, OH
    • Ninth – New Orleans, LA
    • Tenth – Portland, OR
    • Eleventh – Denver, CO
    • Twelfth – Harrisburg, PA
    • Thirteenth – Rochester, NY
    • Fourteenth – St. Louis, MO
    • Fifteenth – Austin, TX

The study was done by taking in the number of breweries, bars, beer-tasting tours, and the average beer cost.

The average cost of a pint (16 oz.) of beer in Lancaster is $4, and the city has two tasting tours, while the average cost for beer in Pittsburgh is $4.40, and that city also has two tasting tours. The average price is $5.25 in Harrisburg and that city has zero tasting tours.
