Gregory, 31, also was absent for voluntary offseason workouts and the three-day mandatory minicamp -- the latter an unexcused absence, head coach Todd Bowles said, leaving the outside linebacker subject to $101,356 in fines. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed outside linebacker Randy Gregory on the reserve/did not report list on Tuesday after he did not report to training camp. Gregory also had three days of unexcused absences in the team's mandatory minicamps, according to ESPN's Jenna Laine, and he did not participate in voluntary offseason workouts. There has been no word from Gregory, his agent or his attorney to explain his continued absence, according to Fox Sports' Greg Auman.

A pedestrian was hit and killed on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in Pasco County early Wednesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The incident occurred at 5:53 a.m. at the intersection with State Road 56. The pedestrian, a 66-year-old woman from Zephyrhills, stepped from a median into the northbound lanes of Bruce B. Downs and was hit by a 25-year-old Tampa woman driving a Toyota Corolla, the highway patrol said in a news release.
