Veteran Center hosts first spaghetti fundraiser
The Land O’ Lakes Veterans Center recently held their first Spaghetti & Meatball benefit at the Veterans Center in downtown Land O’ Lakes. Hosted by April the Tipsy Housewife, volunteers worked diligently to serve everyone in attendance. In addition to spaghetti and meatballs, a variety of desserts were served as well as wine, beer and soft drinks.
Revitalization efforts see introduction of new downtown businesses
A surge of new, and young, business owners have been moving to the downtown Eagle River area, bringing with them new varieties of goods and services. Through the Eagle River Revitalization Program (ERRP), parts of downtown Eagle River have been revitalized, repairing and renovating aging storefronts and drawing in brand-new businesses.
Border Troubadours to debut original play
