DC Jazz Festival Celebrates 20th Anniversary Across City Wards
The DC Jazz Festival in Washington, D.C. is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The festival features performances in all 8 wards of the city, showcasing the diversity of jazz music. Fairfax County Police have arrested two men in connection with a homicide in Oakton on July 20. Police said they are still working to identify the victim, a Hispanic male between the ages of 20 and 30. Officers responded to the 9500 block of Route 29 at about 3:04 p.m. after a community member walking on a path found a body in a wooded area. Officers found a man with obvious trauma to the body after the person reported him unresponsive. He was declared deceased at the scene.
