Waste Wise Lane County, South Valley Farmers Market to host Creswell ‘Fix-It Fair’
CRESWELL, Ore. – Waste Wise Lane County and the South Valley Farmers Market are hosting Creswell’s first ‘Fix-It Fair’ next week. The event will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on July 10 during the market at Harry Holt Memorial Park located at 127 N. 4th Street, organizers said. Waste Wise Lane County officials said that ‘Fix-It Fair’ events promote reuse and repair by offering participants opportunities to have household items repaired by fixer coaches. Participants can also watch and learn repair skills, discover local repair resources, and extend the life of household items by keeping more goods out of the trash and also helping people save money, according to the event’s organizers.
