Online School Registration Open for Madison Central
Annual online registration is open for students who will be attending the Madison Central School District this year. Parents of students are asked to log into their Parent Portal account to complete the online registration by August 2nd. School officials say any students who will be in Junior Kindergarten this year should be entered as a Kindergartener online, then contact the district office.

Watertown Clips Pierre in Game One of Regionals
Watertown Post 17 would score three runs in the bottom of the sixth to beat Pierre Post 8 3-2 in game one of the Regional Playoffs on Thursday in Watertown. The Eights would get both of its runs in the top of the sixth on a two out error as Cooper Terwilliger hit a fly ball over the top of the right fielder’s head. Charlie Simpson and Dawson Getz would score as Getz would have the only hit of the ballgame for the Eights as Kayden Rylance would go six innings allowing just the one hit with five walks and eight strikeouts for Watertown. Nathan Briggs would get the seventh inning save in 1-2-3 order. Miles Doyle would go five and two thirds giving up the three runs on four hits, four walks and seven strikeouts. Getz would get the final out in the bottom of the sixth. Nash Berg had the two run double with two outs in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game and Markus Pitkin would drive in Berg for the winning run.
