Watertown Post 17 would score three runs in the bottom of the sixth to beat Pierre Post 8 3-2 in game one of the Regional Playoffs on Thursday in Watertown. The Eights would get both of its runs in the top of the sixth on a two out error as Cooper Terwilliger hit a fly ball over the top of the right fielder’s head. Charlie Simpson and Dawson Getz would score as Getz would have the only hit of the ballgame for the Eights as Kayden Rylance would go six innings allowing just the one hit with five walks and eight strikeouts for Watertown. WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- On July 17, 2024, 63-year-old James Barrett Kaska, a convicted sex offender, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree rape.
