Jail layout under preliminary consideration due to holding cell shortage
ANTIGO — Wednesday morning, the county board’s public property committee approved potential spending on an architectural study of the county jail that would be conducted to determine the feasibility of constructing additional temporary holding cells in the building. Junior League Tournament Winners
Last weekend, two White Lake teams took 1st and 2nd place in the Langlade County Junior League “B” Team Tournament. The first round took place Tuesday, July 9, and the winners of those games moved on to the next round of the tournament held in Phlox Saturday July 13. The championship game was delayed until Sunday July 14 due the rain. The White Lake Wildcats Yellow defeated the White Lake Wildcats Blue in the championship game. Both teams had excellent winning regular seasons as well.
