2 charged with stealing high-value cars from dealership in Adams County
STRABAN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two men are charged with stealing two high-value cars from a dealership in Adams County. Pennsylvania State Police said London Flores and Jefferson Ventura, both 19, and from Silver Spring, Maryland, were with a third person when they broke into the Renn Kirby Chevrolet dealership on Expedition Trail in Straban Township in April.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (7News) — A construction worker was struck and killed by a vehicle at a construction site Wednesday, according to the Alexandria Police Department (APD). On July 24 around 7:32 a.m., APD was called to a construction site in the 5700 block of Duke Street for a report of an injured person.

YMCA Helping Kids Learn to Swim with Free Lessons
Swimming is a life-time skill, and yet many children and adults do not know how to do it. That is why the YMCA in Silver Spring is stepping up to help. This summer, the Silver Spring chapter is providing free swim lessons to 112 children between the ages of 6 and 12. The ‘Learn to Swim Program’ takes place during two summer sessions. Session Two is currently underway. Each child receives eight lessons during the session. The YMCA of the USA provided a grant to help pay for the lessons.
