**UPDATE: As reported Saturday afternoon by KIRO 7, the reptile in question turned out to be an exotic tegu lizard that recently escaped from its owner. Alligators are not native to Washington State and could not establish a population in the region because of its cool climate. Washington schoolboy, 13, shot dead during OfferUp meeting gone tragically wrong
A schoolboy was shot dead after being caught in gunfire during an OfferUp meeting to sell a camera at a park. Matthiew Stavkovy was gunned down on Tuesday, July 16, at Turnkey Park in Kent, Washington. In a fundraiser, his devastated family said he was driven away from the park to a nearby apartment complex and despite efforts by first responders, he died after a wound in his abdomen.
