Scooter's Coffee House coming to Prattville
PRATTVILLE − Scooter's Coffee House is coming to Prattville, and the chain will demolish a closed restaurant building in the process. SRS Real Estate Partners of Birmingham announced the news. The coffee shop's location will be in the old Church's Chicken building in the 400 block of South Memorial Drive. The restaurant closed about a year ago. Teenager Dies in ATV Accident
A 15-year-old from Union Grove died from injuries in a crash – involving an all-terrain vehicle – on Monday night. Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the incident happened around 11:50pm on Union Chapel Road some four miles north of Arab in Marshall County. Bailey said that the teenager was critically injured, after the 2015 Honda four-wheeler ATV he was operating – left the roadway – and then struck a tree. After the initial impact the juvenile and another 15-year-old teen, who was a passenger, were thrown from the Honda.
