ELKMONT – They say you can’t beat city hall. So, the folks of Elkmont went a step further – they built city hall. Well, actually, they built a town hall. “Since the 1800s, the governing officials of the Town of Elkmont have met in various buildings with multiple purposes,” said Mayor Tracy Compton. “The new town hall marks a new era for our community.
