TRUSSVILLE, Ala.—Family and friends were in attendance as Jackson Howell accepted two honors at the July 24 meeting of the Trussville City Council. Council member Alan Taylor read a proclamation honoring Howell for being the first person in Alabama to ever receive a scholarship from the National Football Foundation.
