AMA Iowa names winners of annual marketing awards
The Iowa Chapter of the American Marketing Association announced the winners of its 19th annual NOVA Awards during a ceremony held on July 17 at the Krause Gateway Center in Des Moines. Iowa companies’ marketing efforts were recognized with awards for categories including branding, data analytics and marketing research, integrated marketing campaign and marketing communications. “Every year, marketing teams across the state of Iowa design and execute the most creative and impactful marketing initiatives,” AMA Iowa President Ben Currie said in a prepared statement. “Teams use various data and multiple marketing channels to reach customers. State Auditor Sand To Host Town Halls In Area On Thursday
Iowa State Auditor Rob Sand invites the public to join him for several town hall meetings scheduled for Thursday in four area counties. Sand will host the first town hall of the day in Crawford County in Denison’s Washington Park from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Sand will share updates from his office’s efforts to monitor and protect taxpayers’ money and root out waste, fraud, and abuse in state, county, and local governments. He then heads to Carroll’s Southside Park for a town hall from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. before traveling to Sac City Park in Sac City from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Sand finishes the day in Rockwell City at the Calhoun County Courthouse’s gazebo from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. The public is invited and encouraged to attend any of these town hall meetings. A list of the upcoming dates, times, and locations for Sand’s town halls in the region is included below.
