Salaried Layoffs At John Deere Now Total Nearly 500
(Moline, IL) -- We now know the number of salaried employees John Deere is laying off in Illinois. Almost 300 people lost their jobs at Deere World Headquarters in the Quad Cities, and another 21 were let go at Harvester Works in Moline last week. Those numbers come from the Illinois Department of Commerce.
