Commemorative Air Force AirPower History Tour Wraps Up
This weekend, the Commemorative Air Force wrapped up their AirPower History Tour at the Dubuque Regional Airport in Dubuque – featuring several aircraft from World War II and more. Visitors were able to purchase tours and rides aboard FIFI, a Boeing B-29 Super fortress, the P-51 Mustang, the B-17 Flying Fortress and the B-25 Mitchell, along with an assortment of fighters, trainers and liaison aircraft. The CAF says the project’s purpose is to educate and preserve these airplanes that otherwise would have all been lost. The Commemorative Air Force is now the largest flying museum in the world, with over 170 aircraft.

Clark named B1G Female Athlete of the Year
Former Iowa guard Caitlin Clark has been named 2023-24 Big Ten Female Athlete of the Year. Clark is the first Hawkeye to win the award in back-to-back years. She is also only the third repeat winner in Big Ten Conference history, joining Wisconsin’s Suzy Favor (1988, 1989, 1990) and Indiana’s Lilly King (2017, 2018).
