State Auditor Sand To Host Town Halls In Area On Thursday
Iowa State Auditor Rob Sand invites the public to join him for several town hall meetings scheduled for Thursday in four area counties. Sand will host the first town hall of the day in Crawford County in Denison’s Washington Park from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Sand will share updates from his office’s efforts to monitor and protect taxpayers’ money and root out waste, fraud, and abuse in state, county, and local governments. He then heads to Carroll’s Southside Park for a town hall from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. before traveling to Sac City Park in Sac City from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Sand finishes the day in Rockwell City at the Calhoun County Courthouse’s gazebo from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. The public is invited and encouraged to attend any of these town hall meetings.
