LANSING — An elderly Lansing-area man won more than $434,000 in an instant-win lottery game.

The 92-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought his winning Lucky 7s Fast Cash ticket at the Sunoco station on Migaldi Lane in Delta Township on June 25, the Michigan Lottery said.

"I had my eye on the Fast Cash game after seeing the jackpot was on the rise," the man said in a Lottery news release. "I stopped into a store and said, 'I'm going after that jackpot.' I bought two tickets and didn't win, so I stopped into a different store later that day and purchased two more tickets."

The man said he won $50 on one of the tickets and matched number 59 with the "Jackpot" underneath on the other. He said he knew he'd won the jackpot when he was instructed to file a claim at the Lottery office.

The man said he planned to share his winnings − $434,105 − with his family, lottery officials said.

All 12 Fast Cash games feed into one jackpot, and players can win all or part of that jackpot instantly. Tickets cost from $2 to $20 per play, depending on the game.
