    Greater Lansing high school girls lacrosse Dream Team, all-area

    Here is a look at the Greater Lansing high school girls lacrosse Dream Team and all-area selections.

    PLAYER OF THE YEAR

    Kylie Pastor

    Team: Haslett-Williamston

    Year: Senior

    Accomplishments: The goalkeeper and Coastal Carolina signee was a Michigan Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association first team all-state selection in Division 2. She also earned All-American accolades and helped Haslett-Williamston win CAAC and regional titles. She had a 61.8% save rate and allowed just 4.57 goals per game while helping Haslett-Williamston match a school record for single-season wins with 19.

    Abigail Brooks

    Year: Senior

    Accomplishments: The defender earned MWLCA second team all-state accolades in Division 2 and contributed to CAAC and regional titles.

    Ireland Brown

    Year: Senior

    Accomplishments: The midfielder earned MWLCA Division 2 second team all-state selection and had 45 goals and 36 assists.

    Team: Haslett-Williamston

    Year: Freshman

    Accomplishments: The midfielder finished with 67 goals and eight assists while helping Haslett-Williamston claim league and regional titles and reach the state semifinals.

    Ava Clark

    Team: Grand Ledge

    Year: Senior

    Accomplishments: Clark was a Division 2 honorable mention all-state selection by the MWLCA.

    Ellery Curtis

    Team: Grand Ledge

    Year: Junior

    Accomplishments: The attacker earned honorable mention all-state recognition in Division 2 from the MWLCA.

    Gianna Edgerly

    Team: Holt

    Year: Junior

    Accomplishments: The MWLCA Division 1 honorable mention all-state selection had 49 goals and 16 assists.

    Bailey Foltz

    Team: Okemos

    Year: Senior

    Accomplishments: The attacker had 32 goals this spring for the Wolves.

    Lana Hawks

    Team: Okemos

    Year: Junior

    Accomplishments: The midfielder earned MWLCA honorable mention all-state recognition and had 32 goals for the Wolves.

    Sarah Hicks

    Team: Lansing Catholic

    Year: Senior

    Accomplishments: The attacker was a Division 2 honorable mention all-state selection by the MWLCA and had 45 goals and 11 assists.

    Team: DeWitt

    Year: Senior

    Accomplishments: The senior midfielder and MWLCA Division 2 first team all-state selection had 75 goals and eight assists while helping DeWitt to a school record 19 wins.

    Accomplishments: The Kent State commit and defender was a MWLCA Division 2 first team all-state selection.

    Malia Lenneman

    Team: DeWitt

    Year: Senior

    Accomplishments: Lenneman was a key presence on defense for the Panthers, who allowed just 7.7 goals per game.

    Maddy Nowak

    Team: Holt

    Year: Junior

    Accomplishments: Nowak was a MWLCA honorable mention all-state selection and had 50 goals and 19 assists.

    Year: Sophomore

    Accomplishments: The MWLCA third team all-state selection had 76 goals and 27 assists while playing a role in league and regional titles.

    Isabelle Watson

    Team: East Lansing

    Year: Junior

    Accomplishments: The midfielder was a MWLCA Division 2 third team all-state selection and had 64 goals and 33 assists.

    Taylor Young

    Team: DeWitt

    Year: Senior

    Accomplishments: The attacker was a Division 2 second team all-state selection by the MWLCA and had 51 goals and 56 assists for the Panthers.

    Co-COACH: Marvin Hardy, DeWitt — Guided DeWitt to a school record 19 wins

    Co-COACH: Chad Pastor, Haslett-Williamston — Helped program match a school record with 19 wins while claiming CAAC and regional titles and reaching the state semifinals for a second straight season.
