Ocimeae Lavender Farm opens for its second year

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The lavender U-pick festival will be open to the public this weekend, and officials hope that people in the community will come out and enjoy not only the lavender but also the experience.

There are options to purchase lavender bundles, lavender hydrosol, essential oil, lavender-infused creamed honey, shortbread, body butter, soap, spice blends, bath salt, and beard oil.

Marilyn and Tom Smith, Co-owners of Ocimeae Lavender Farm believe the impact this farm has on Michigan is that it provides a different landscape for people in the state to enjoy- – and also allows an opportunity to be present. The lavender U-pick is $15 per bundle.

This weekend they will host a variety of activities including yoga and a ‘love yourself better’ mini retreat for women.
