LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Judy and Mike McNamara are on a culinary journey to visit every Texas Roadhouse in the U.S.

In 2010, Judy retired after working 45 years at the Union Camp International Paper Mill in southeastern Virginia and the couple decided to start traveling with all the new time on their hands. They began traveling regularly in 2017—and decided to visit all 600+ locations in the country.

“We’ve been to 37 different roadhouses from 2003 to the end of 2017,” said Mike. “So since we’re both retired at that point, it’s like ‘Let’s just see how many we can go to.’ We’re here for the food, of course. We’re also here for the people.”

When planning visits to museums and national parks, they always check to see if there is a Texas Roadhouse nearby.
