Here is a look at the Greater Lansing high school girls soccer Dream Team and all-area selections.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Audrey Walkington

▶ School: Mason

▶ Year: Senior

▶ Accomplishments: The goalkeeper was a Division 2 first team all-state selection by the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association. She registered 15 shutouts and allowed just six goals while helping Mason win the CAAC Gold Cup for the first time in program history and a district title. Walkington made 90 saves and saved 93.8% of the shots she faced.

DREAM TEAM

Ella Baird

▶ School: Grand Ledge

▶ Year: Junior

▶ Accomplishments: The forward was a MIHSSCA Division 1 honorable mention all-state selection and had 17 goals and seven assists.

Reegyn Cady

▶ School: Mason

▶ Year: Senior

▶ Accomplishments: The center midfielder earned MIHSSCA honorable mention all-state honors in Division 2 for the Bulldogs and had eight goals and seven assists.

Hailee Campbell

▶ School: Ovid-Elsie

▶ Year: Senior

▶ Accomplishments: The midfielder was a MIHSSCA Division 3 second team all-state selection and finished with 16 goals and 20 assists while helping the Marauders win a district title.

Evalyn Cole

▶ School: Ovid-Elsie

▶ Year: Senior

▶ Accomplishments: The midfielder earned Division 3 first team all-state recognition by the MIHSSCA and had 20 goals and 21 assists for the Marauders.

Kennedie Crow

▶ School: Eaton Rapids

▶ Year: Sophomore

▶ Accomplishments: The forward was a MIHSSCA first team all-state selection in Division 3 and had 29 goals and 10 assists while helping the Greyhounds win CAAC White and district titles.

Carly Dennis

▶ School: DeWitt

▶ Year: Sophomore

▶ Accomplishments: Dennis was a MIHSSCA first team all-state selection in Division 2 and contributed to the Panthers capturing district and regional championships.

Elly Gorsline

▶ School: Williamston

▶ Year: Sophomore

▶ Accomplishments: The midfielder had four goals and four assists for the Hornets while being named MIHSSCA second team all-state in Division 3.

Panya Gross

▶ School: Okemos

▶ Year: Senior

▶ Accomplishments: The center back was a four-year starter who had a key role in helping the Wolves capture a third straight CAAC Blue title.

Abby Hendy

▶ School: St. Johns

▶ Year: Senior

▶ Accomplishments: The center back was a third team all-state selection in Division 3 by the MIHSSCA.

Ella Marciniak-Jennings

▶ School: Holt

▶ Year: Senior

▶ Accomplishments: The forward was a top performer for the Rams and had 13 goals and three assists.

Nicole O’Neal

▶ School: DeWitt

▶ Year: Junior

▶ Accomplishments: O'Neal was a Division 2 second team all-state selection by the MIHSSCA.

Avani Pavangadkar

▶ School: Okemos

▶ Year: Sophomore

▶ Accomplishments: The wing had 11 goals and three assists to lead CAAC Blue champion Okemos.

Olivia Preisser

▶ School: East Lansing

▶ Year: Senior

▶ Accomplishments: The midfielder had nine goals and eight assists for the Trojans.

Cate Piesko

▶ School: DeWitt

▶ Year: Junior

▶ Accomplishments: Piesko was a MIHSSCA Division 2 third team all-state selection and contributed to the Panthers winning district and regional titles.

Ava Ruster

▶ School: Mason

▶ Year: Junior

▶ Accomplishments: The center back was a top defender for the Bulldogs and earned MIHSSCA second team all-state honors in Division 2.

Alex Sharrow

▶ School: Haslett

▶ Year: Freshman

▶ Accomplishments: The forward was a Division 2 first team all-state selection and finished with 27 goals and 14 assists for the Vikings
