    See Greater Lansing's track and field regional standouts

    It was a big weekend for high school track and field teams and athletes in Greater Lansing as trips to the upcoming state finals were earned.

    Here's a look at some of the top performances from area athletes over the weekend.

    Tarick Bower, Corunna

    The senior helped the Cavaliers capture a regional title, picking up individual wins in the long jump and 100. He had a leap of 22-7.5 in the long jump and a time of 10.78 seconds in the 100. Bower also was part of Corunna’s winning 400 and 800 relays.

    Brady Feldpausch, Fowler

    The junior set personal records while placing first in the 110 and 300 hurdles at a Division 4 regional. He finished with a time of 14.71 seconds in the high hurdles and 39.73 seconds in the low hurdles. Feldpausch also was on the winning 800 and 1,600 relay teams for Fowler, which claimed the team title.

    Gracee Robidou, Stockbridge

    The senior was a triple winner at a Division 3 regional, taking first in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and the long jump. She won won the 100 hurdles in 17.0 seconds, the 300 hurdles in 48.97 seconds and the long jmp in 16-0.5. Robidou was also the runner-up in the 200 for Stockbridge, which was the runner-up at the regional it hosted.

    Tessa Roe, Lansing Catholic

    Roe won the 1,600 in 5:04, the 3,200 in 11:31.21 and was part of the Cougars’ winning 3,200 relay during the Division 3 regional at Bath.

    Rylee Scheurer, Portland St. Patrick

    The senior had season-best times in the 100 and 200 while taking first in both events and playing a part in St. Patrick winning a Division 4 regional title. Scheurer won the 100 in 12.74 seconds and the 200 in 26.11 seconds. She also helped St. Patrick finish first in the 400 and 800 relays.
