INGHAM TWP. ― Two friends were arrested for drunk driving Friday evening in Ingham Township, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office said in an email alert.

At about 7 p.m., a deputy made a traffic stop for speed near Osborne and East Dansville roads and arrested the driver, a 25-year-old man from Gregory, for operating while intoxicated.

A second driver, a 23-year-old man from Spring Arbor, "stopped to check on his friend who had just been arrested," the sheriff's office said, and he was also arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Both suspects were taken to the Ingham County Jail. Neither of their names was released.

Yeah, but they're going to "hand slap" sobriety court so that next time (& there will be a next time) they'll get a chance to kill someone.....
