Eaton Rapids man dies following crash on M-99 near Dimondale

WINDSOR TWP. — An Eaton Rapids man died Thursday morning after his vehicle struck a tree along M-99 near Dimondale, police said.

Michigan State Police said the crash happened shortly after 8 a.m. on North Michigan Road (M-99) at Skinner Highway. The driver was heading north when his 2012 Nissan Murano went off the road.

The man, 44, was taken to a hospital with critical injuries and died at a hospital about an hour later, state police said.

Windsor Township Emergency Services assisted state police at the scene.
