Part of La. 70 re-opens after crash involving 3 vehicles; LSP investigating
ASCENSION PARISH, La. (WAFB) - Louisiana State Police is investigating an early morning crash in Ascension Parish that temporarily caused a highway to shut down. Officials confirmed it happened on Hwy. 70 at Panama Road around 6 a.m. and involved three vehicles. Hwy. 70 was temporarily closed in both directions as troopers worked the scene; however, LA 70 East has since re-opened. LA 70 West remains blocked at LA 22.
