LAPORTE — A 39-year-old Michigan City man is behind bars facing three criminal counts of possessing child pornography, according to LaPorte County police. Steffano Guess was arrested as a result of tip to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, which led to an investigation by the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, county police said.

LAPORTE — The LaPorte County Board of Zoning Appeals has granted final approval to RWE Clean Energy LLC to build a solar farm on more than 3,300 acres of farmland in eastern LaPorte County.
