Boise, Idaho (CBS2) - The Idaho Humane Society is joining other shelters to help find homes for 50 dogs rescued from a home in California. 30 dogs arrived in Boise on Friday. A Denver District Court Judge has temporarily halted the proposed $24.6 billion merger between The Kroger Co. (Cincinnati) and Albertsons Cos. Wildfire near Salmon grows over 2,000 acres
SALMON — A fire burning near a lake has reached over 2,000 acres. The “Thunder Fire” is burning sage, grass, and fir. According to the U.S. Forest Service-Salmon-Challis National Forest, the fire is approximately two miles northwest of Williams Lake and about 11 miles southwest of Salmon. It has progressed toward Henry Creek.
