CHEYENNE — Last month, the Laramie County Republican Party hosted the candidates for county commissioners, where they discussed hot topics in the community, including book policy. Tuesday morning, the Laramie County Library invited the same candidates to meet again for a more in-depth discussion on how they would approach library funding, book policy and the library board.

Four of the seven candidates who filed — Don Hollingshead, Jess Ketcham, Larry Milbourn and Austin Rodemaker — attended the event, while the remaining three submitted written responses to the library’s prepared questions. All are Republicans who will compete for two open seats in the Aug. 20 primary election.
