CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Increasing moisture in southeast Wyoming will support strong thunderstorms through this evening, potentially leading to localized flash flooding. The National Weather Service in Cheyenne reports that a shortwave in the upper atmosphere will enhance storm development today. Scattered clouds have formed north of a surface low in northeast Colorado, with early morning showers expected. Weak easterly winds across the Nebraska Panhandle and westerly winds in the South Laramie Range foothills will support additional showers early this morning.

Joint powers board receives $200K to promote economic development
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — County leaders are again choosing to invest in the economic promotion and success of the county’s businesses. The Laramie County Board of County Commissioners approved a contract at its regular Tuesday meeting granting $200,000 to the Cheyenne/Laramie County Economic Development Joint Powers Board.
