Volunteers keep Northern Colorado laundry truck's mission rolling after crash
A mobile laundry service in Fort Collins and Loveland is back on the road five months after its truck was damaged in a crash. The mobile laundry service has been operated by Homeward Alliance volunteers for five years, providing free and accessible laundry to people with low income and families and people experiencing homelessness. Volunteers drive the laundry truck — outfitted with six washers and six dryers — to locations in Fort Collins and Loveland weekly so clients can have their laundry washed, dried and folded for free.
Link made between Colorado football HC Deion Sanders and Lincoln Riley's USC job
Deion Sanders was, for some reason, linked to Lincoln Riley's USC head coaching job in yet another Colorado football escape plan hatched by a writer. This time, it was Essentially Sports' Jeevesh Singh who made a wild career change prediction for Coach Prime; the reasoning being that Paul Finebaum said Riley's 2023 coaching job was an all-time bad one.
Colorado Springs firefighters to begin mitigation work at Stratton Open Space in August; trail closures possible
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Starting next month, Colorado Springs firefighters will be honing in one of the city’s popular parks. Stratton Open Space sits on the southwest side of the city and is a true neighborhood park, surrounded by homes and schools. It’s also directly adjacent to the 1,600-acre North Cheyenne Canon. No surprises as Broncos put three players on PUP list
The Denver Broncos placed three players on the physically-unable-to-perform list in advance of training camp Sunday, and none of them were a surprise. None of the three players took part in on-field OTAs or minicamp. Sanders is expected to be out until midseason after tearing his Achilles during an April workout. Sterns missed the final 16 games of last season due to a torn patellar tendon suffered in Week 1. Turner-Yell suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Week 17 last year, and the relatively late date of that injury in the season could keep him on the sideline into the regular season.
