South Carolina player had the most violent sack celebration ever

South Carolina defensive end Dylan Stewart on Saturday got way too trigger-happy with one of his sack celebrations.

Stewart’s Gamecocks faced off against the Ole Miss Rebels at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, S.C.

During Ole Miss’ final drive of the first half, quarterback Jaxson Dart got sacked by Stewart for a loss of seven yards. After taking down Dart near midfield, Stewart immediately stood over his victim and seemingly started firing several imaginary shotgun rounds at the Ole Miss QB.

The classless move from Stewart felt even more baffling given that South Carolina was getting crushed 24-3 at that point.

A flag was thrown on the play but it wasn’t due to Stewart’s celebration. The penalty wasn’t even against South Carolina. An Ole Miss O-lineman was penalized for holding.

But Dart eventually got the last laugh. He bounced back from the sack and hit wide receiver Jordan Watkins with a 41-yard pass a few plays later that eventually led to a rushing TD.

Stewart’s sack was the only one South Carolina recorded all game, and it didn’t even prevent Ole Miss from scoring a touchdown.

Dart finished the game with a 14/27 passing clip for 285 yards in a 27-3 demolition of South Carolina.
