Bryce Harper has hyped celebration after making fantastic play in NLDS Game 2

Bryce Harper was fired up after helping his team get out of a jam on Sunday.

The Philadelphia Phillies star Harper made a sweet play to end the second inning of Game 2 of the NLDS against the New York Mets. With two outs and a runner at second base for the Mets, Harper made a diving grab off a Francisco Alvarez groundball to the right side. Harper got up and easily stepped on first for the third out. He then proceeded to celebrate by emphatically firing the ball into the upper deck of Citizens Bank Park.

There was some real zip on that ball from Harper too. That had to feel very cathartic, especially after the Phillies blew an eighth-inning lead in Game 1 on Saturday and lost 6-2.

The two-time MVP Harper was an outfielder for virtually his entire career but shifted to first base starting last season after a Tommy John surgery on his right elbow. Harper still clearly has the arm strength though, and he also now has a nice collection of defensive highlights at the first base position .
