Kiké Hernandez drops F-bomb on live TV after eliminating Padres

Los Angeles Dodgers hero Kiké Hernandez on Friday found a rather creative way to end his postgame interview.

Hernandez accounted for the first run in Game 5 of the NLDS between the Dodgers and San Diego Padres at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif. The 33-year-old hit a solo homer off Yu Darvish to give the Dodgers a 1-0 lead with two outs in the bottom of the 2nd inning. He gave the team some serious momentum to start the game — momentum that lasted the entire contest.

The Dodgers never looked back after Hernandez’s blast as the pitching staff carried the home team to a 2-0 victory. The Padres’ offensive futility got the eventual losers clowned on social media .

Hernandez also fielded a ground ball from Fernando Tatis Jr. to get the final out of the series.

After his heroics, Hernandez delivered a postgame interview. He was asked by FOX field reporter Ken Rosenthal about what makes the current Dodgers team different from the seven other postseason squads Hernandez had been on in the past.

The Dodgers’ utility man made sure the broadcast was live before dropping a calculated F-bomb to end the interview. (note: the video contains profanity)

Hernandez: “Are we live?”

Rosenthal: “We’re live.”

Hernandez: “The fact that we don’t give a f–k.”

Hernandez’s home run was the 14th of his postseason career, which ranks an astonishing 20th in MLB playoff history.

On a team with superstars like Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman, Hernandez found a way to shine for the Dodger faithful.
