Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud vented some frustration with his offensive line on the sideline during Sunday’s game against Green Bay.

Stroud was under heavy pressure during the first half of Sunday’s game at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. He was sacked twice and faced even more pressure than that, leading to visible frustration as he slammed his helmet to the ground on the sideline late in the first half.

Tracy Wolfson of CBS Sports reported that Stroud was also quite vocal on the sideline and pulled his line together to tell them he needed “more time to operate.”

It’s rare that we have seen Stroud this frustrated since he came into the NFL. The frustration stemmed from an inability to get the offense going, mostly because of a lack of time. They did manage to get it together enough to add a touchdown before the half and go in with the lead.

Stroud has always demonstrated plenty of confidence , so it’s certainly different to see things going so poorly for him. The Texans were otherwise playing fine, however, and there isn’t really anything to worry about long-term despite this show of annoyance.

10 of 21 for 86 yards, passing game sucked, only offense they had was Mixon’s running for 2 TDs.
