Lunchbox Lemonade to take place this Friday at Las Cruces Plaza

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — The Las Cruces Police Department’s community outreach team is hosting its next LunchBox Lemonade this Friday, July 26, at the Plaza de Las Cruces Splash Pad.

The Police Department says the Lunchbox Lemonade series encourages residents of all ages to have lunch with the community outreach team at an area splash pad.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. through 2 p.m. this Friday at the Plaza de Las Cruces Splash Pad located at 100 N. Main St.

Participants are encouraged to bring their sack lunch and the Police Department will provide free popsicles and cool lemonade courtesy of a community partnership with Raising Cane’s restaurant.

The Lunchbox Lemonade series will be held through Aug. 23 at various splash pads throughout Las Cruces including:

• July 26, Plaza De Las Cruces Splash Pad, 100 N. Main St.
• Aug. 9, Metro Verde Splash Pad, 7125 Metro Park St.
• Aug. 23, Unidad Park Splash Pad, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.
