LAS VEGAS, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Las Vegas and San Miguel County are placing bottled water distribution on hold as the water reserve is now stable. Sandbag distribution will continue at 1700 North Grand Ave. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A spokesperson for the city said a break in active weather is giving residents time to prepare their homes for flooding. The city is encouraging all residents to pick up sandbags while supplies last.
