No. 1 Boba Tea Appears to Be Planning Northwest Vegas Location

Famous as Las Vegas ’s first boba tea store, No. 1 Boba Tea has been in business since 1998, and it has grown considerably with owner Amy Zhang Warthan at the helm, encompassing 14 locations in Nevada , one more in Texas , and another in the works in California .

A fifteenth Nevada location appears to be in progress for the brand in northwestern Las Vegas. A work permit was issued recently for a new No. 1 Boba Tea at 9560 W Skye Canyon Park Drive #130 .

The homegrown Vegas boba brand’s menus vary from location to location, but each offers a selection of milk teas, flavored teas, and slushes. These include Mango Green Tea, Matcha Milk Tea, and the Honeydew Slush, from the Aliante, Flamingo, Lake Mead, and Nellis menus.

Opening in the West Skye Canyon Park Drive location, near the intersection with North Grand Canyon Drive , No. 1 Boba Tea would join fast and fast-casual restaurants like McDonald’s , Starbucks, Omelette Cafe , and Tropical Smoothie Cafe .

What Now reached out to Amy Zhang Warthan on Thursday to ask about plans for a new location on West Skye Canyon Park Drive. Warthan was not immediately available for comment.
