Cloud 9 Hookah Lounge to Reopen After Renovations

Located at 6835 W Russell Road, Suite 160 , near the intersection with South Rainbow Boulevard , Cloud 9 Hookah Lounge is a popular local spot for hookah and relaxation. Cloud 9 has shut its doors (it’s marked “Temporarily Closed” on Google Maps), but after finding licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County by Above the Cloud LLC , What Now decided to see what the plans are for Cloud 9’s reopening.

As it turns out, most of the details are still under wraps, but a representative of the restaurant was able to confirm several key points. To begin with, Cloud 9 is currently under construction, the representative said. It can be expected to reopen in the next 2-3 months.

Furthermore, Cloud 9 will reopen with a full liquor license and a kitchen—although it’s too soon to reveal the culinary details, the representative said, as the menu is still under development.

“This lounge feels like a community, Sundays they will be playing super smash bros,” says one 5-star review on Google. “The vibe is amazing, people are polite and the workers make you feel at home.”
