Gjelina is Coming to the Las Vegas Strip

Los Angeles -based restaurant Gjelina has a lot going on this year. With its New York location set to reopen this summer, the brand has its sights set on Las Vegas for its third location. Gjelina will be joining the prestigious restaurant lineup at the Venetian Resort later this year, according to coverage by Eater Las Vegas .

The brand has been steadily building popularity since it was founded in 2008 in Los Angeles.

“Since then, our businesses have evolved with our neighborhood — with our menus guided by conversations and long-standing relationships with Southern California farmers, local ranchers, fishermen, and co-ops,” says the Gjelina website .

The dinner menu at the Los Angeles location includes a variety of pizzas whose flavor profiles are not given names, allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves. There’s Bottarga, Smoked Mozzarella, Confit Tomato, Arugula, Jalapeno; or Housemade Chorizo, Tomato, Cream, Fontina, Fennel, Chili, Basil; or Pomodoro Crudo – Cherry Tomato, Confit Garlic, Burrata, Basil‑to name a few.

The same goes for plates like Heirloom Squash Curry with tomatillo, oyster mushroom, red quinoa, chili, and mint; or Wood Roasted Prawn, with black garlic fermented chili butter and grilled lemon.

No opening date is available yet, but Gjelina is expected to launch at the Venetian before year’s end.
