Ginza Izakaya Japanese Restaurant Looks to Be Opening Near Skye Canyon Marketplace

A new Japanese izakaya looks to be opening on the northeast corner of North Grand Canyon Drive and West Skye Canyon Park Drive . Paperwork was recently submitted to the Las Vegas Planning Commission requesting a special use permit for full alcohol in a restaurant called Ginza Izakaya Japanese Restaurant .

A justification letter submitted with documents says the restaurant features about 1000 square feet of dining space, plus another 1000 for the kitchen and bar., with hours of operation from 3 to 11 pm daily and seating for about 90 guests, including 8 bar seats.

What Now reached out Zhi Gang Wang to inquire about plans for Ginza Izakaya on Friday. Wang was not immediately available for comment.

Located in Suites 100-110 at 9570 W Skye Canyon Park Drive , the restaurant would join fast-casual concepts like McDonald’s , El Pollo Loco , and Jersey Mike’s Subs . Across North Grand Canyon Drive is Skye Canyon Marketplace , a retail center home to restaurants like Two Sisters Broasted Chicken & Ribs , Omelette Cafe , and Skye Bar & Grill .
