Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The Thursday afternoon commute was a deadly one on valley roads, with three crashes claiming four lives. Then the day was capped off with a fatal auto-pedestrian crash on Boulder Highway.

Two people were killed in a crash involving a wrong-way vehicle on 215 West past North Jones. Three vehicles were involved. The driver of the wrong-way vehicle and the driver of the car that they hit died at the scene. A passenger in the wrong-way vehicle was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

A third car was also involved, but that driver wasn’t hurt.

Just after 6pm, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer on the northbound side of I-15 between Russell Road and Tropicana. No one else was hurt.

On the surface streets, a motorcyclist was killed in a crash along Durango north or Warm Springs.
Witnesses told police that the bike was going at a high rate of speed when it crashed into another vehicle.

Then just before midnight, a pedestrian was struck and killed along Boulder Highway south of Lamb. The driver then fled the scene and is still being sought. No information has been released on a vehicle description from that incident.

The names of the deceased have not yet been released. All the incidents are still under investigation.
