Is Las Vegas Raiders' offensive line too low in PFF's rankings?

The Las Vegas Raiders had a solid showing from their offensive line in 2023, but the starting group is going to have a few new faces in 2024, which opens the door for some concerns.

The Raiders are returning left tackle Kolton Miller, center Andre James and guard Dylan Parham, who appears set to switch from left guard to right guard.

Miller has proven to be one of the better left tackles in the sport, James is coming off a breakout year, and Parham has proven to be a starting-caliber player, which gives Las Vegas a solid foundation upfront.

However, the Raiders have question marks at right tackle and left guard, where Thayer Munford Jr. and Jackson Powers-Johnson are expected to start. Both must prove they are capable starters.

After finishing as Pro Football Focus ' No. 10 unit last season, PFF's Zoltan Buday has Las Vegas at No. 19 in his rankings ahead of 2024. Here's what he wrote:

There is a lot to be optimistic about with the Raiders' offensive line: Kolton Miller has developed into one of the NFL's best left tackles, center Andre James had a breakout 2023 season (ranked ninth among centers in PFF grade) and right tackle Thayer Munford Jr. was promising in his second season on a limited workload.

The Raiders also selected Oregon offensive lineman Jackson Powers-Johnson in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

There's a few reasons why the Raiders should be higher in these rankings.

For starters, the trio of Miller, James and Parham are good enough to earn a better spot. Also, the Raiders have some solid depth options in veterans Andrus Peat and Cody Whitehair, both of whom will be insurance policies if there are issues upfront.
