Stephen A. Smith Makes His Opinion of Kelsey Plum Extremely Clear

    By Grant Young,

Las Vegas Aces guard Kelsey Plum is one of the WNBA's biggest stars.

Despite most of the media's attention being on the 2024 WNBA rookie class (Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese especially), Plum has quietly been putting together an excellent season.

Plum was on fire against Clark and the Indiana Fever on Tuesday; finishing the game with 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists in 37 minutes played.

She also scored 27 points in the Aces' last game before their Fever rout.

And these past two performances were enough to make Plum Stephen A. Smith's WNBA Player of the Week, which he declared on a recent episode of "The Stephen A. Smith Show".

After discussing Plum's stat line against the Fever and making her his player of the week, Smith said, "I don't give a damn about how the Minnesota Lynx, the New York Liberty, or anybody else looks. As long as the Las Vegas Aces are fully loaded and led by A'ja Wilson, ain't nobody beating them. They gonna three-peat."

It's hard to argue with Smith's take, considering how elite the Aces have looked as of late.
