Amanda Balionis takes time off in Vegas following Rory McIlroy gossip

Golf presenter Amanda Balionis took a cheeky jaunt to Las Vegas with her friends before heading back to the CBS Sports studio for the John Deere Classic.

CBS didn't kick off their coverage of the tournament until Saturday, but with a few days to spare, Balionis treated herself to a well-earned short break following the previous weekend's Rocket Mortgage Classic.

She took to social media , posting: "That is a wrap from Detroit with the best traveling circus, see ya in Silvis, Illinois squad!".

Her Instagram was buzzing with snaps from her Vegas shenanigans, featuring nightclub scenes and a humorous note reminding her to "drink water" during the revelry. Clearly, Balionis made the most of her downtime, partying it up at On The Record Speakeasy And Club.

She even shared a breezy poem titled 'Enjoy Summer' with her fans. A familiar face on the golf broadcasting scene, Balionis has been caught up in gossip suggesting she's more than just friends with four-time major champ Rory McIlroy , reports the Irish Mirror .

But those whispers were swiftly silenced, with US Weekly reporting that the two share a "professional working relationship" and nothing more. McIlroy has recently reconciled with his wife Erica Stoll after initiating divorce proceedings on May 13.

The divorce papers painted a grim picture of their union, with Stoll seen sans wedding ring in Florida . McIlroy and Balionis are known for their friendly banter, both on-air and off.

"There have been rumors about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate," McIlroy stated.

"Responding to each rumor is a fool's game. Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning."
