The Mirage Hotel & Casino Holding Six-Day Promo, Paying Out $1.6M Ahead of Closure

The Mirage Hotel & Casino is holding a six-day promo and paying out a total of $1.6 million for gamblers before the property closes permanently on Wednesday, July 17. Of the $1.6 million, nearly $1.2 million is progressive slot money and the remaining $400,000 is progressive table game cash.

The Mirage Progressive Finale Cash Giveaway promotion runs from July 9-13 and resumes on July 16

Hard Rock International, the casino’s owner and operator, is holding one last mega-promotion over the course of six days. The Mirage Progressive Finale Cash Giveaway promotion will run from Tuesday, July 9 through Saturday, July 13 and resume on Tuesday, July 16.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Nevada gaming regulators are requiring the casino to pay out the money because the progressive lump sums are made up almost entirely of gamblers’ losses, except for an initial starting amount by the operator.

Since The Mirage is Hard Rock’s only affiliated casino in Nevada, the casino’s progressive money must be returned to players before the property shuts down. All prizes are non-transferable.

The progressive slot promo will feature $200,000 in guaranteed winnings on July 9, 10, and 11 before increasing to $250,000 on the 12th and 13th. On July 16, $100,000 in cash prizes will be handed out.

The promotions start at 3 p.m. each day and end at 7 p.m. The progressive table game drawings with $400,000 in guaranteed cash prizes will take place at 8 p.m. on July 12 and July 13.

Entries can be earned by playing any qualifying table game with a Unity by Hard Rock rewards card between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the two dates.

Qualifying table games include Baccarat, Blackjack, Face Up Pai Gow, Let It Ride, Three Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold ’Em.

All vouchers must be redeemed at The Mirage Casino Cage by July 16 at 11:59 p.m.
