Anyma will make history as the first electronic music act to perform at the Sphere . On Monday, the dance musician announced that he will present his two Genesys albums with the Afterlife-produced The End of Genesys show at Las Vegas’ Sphere on Dec. 31.

Anyma, the artist project of Matteo Milleri, has been performing his Genesys and Genesys II projects across the country, including at Coachella earlier this year. He’ll reimagine the set for the visually driven Sphere for the New Year’s Eve show. (It’ll also mark the first New Years Eve event at the venue.)

Anyma announced the performance with a 3D video of a giant robot breaking out of the venue’s LED display on Monday.

“I’m honored to be the first electronic artist to play the Sphere,” Anyma says in a statement. “We’re already months into the development of the show and I can’t wait to unveil to everyone what we have planned. It’s only fitting to end my ‘GENESYS’ era and make history at one of the most iconic venues in the world on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas.”

Fans can purchase tickets for the New Year’s Eve show starting July 23 at 9 a.m. PT, though they can sign up for presale access starting July 22 at 9 a.m. PT. Anyma is expected to announce special guests for the show later this year.

The performance announcement comes a few months after Anyma released Genesys II , which included collaborations with Parisi, Iverson, and Grimes, who joined him on two remixes of “Welcome to the Opera.”

The performance from Anyma will arrive in the midst of Eagles’ Live in Concert residency , which opens on Sept. 20. (The group added more dates to the residency on Monday.) Dead & Company will host several more Dead Forever shows at the venue this summer with shows through Aug. 10. Phish and U2 were the first two acts to play residencies at the venue.
